Who is Baby Dance Club for? Baby Dance Club is a 30 minute dance class for the parents and caregivers of babies 0-18 months old and their babies! The class is designed to create community and joy for adult participants while providing tools to connect with babies through dance. No baby music here! We’ll have a fun upbeat playlist of music to get us dancing and laughing. The class will have a seated alternatives for the whole class. We understand that people who have given birth may need to modify and take breaks and that will be encouraged and celebrated at the studio & virtually.

Do I need a baby carrier? No, but you are free to use one! The teacher will offer a variety of options for how to hold the baby but ultimately you decide what works for best for you.

How firm is the age range? This age range is in place to ensure a quality class time experience. Older babies have different, more complex needs for stimulation. This class is for babies young enough that when you dance with them they have all the stimulation they need. If you have an older you can still give the class a try and the teacher will give you feedback as to whether or not it’s a good fit.

Can I join class online? Yes! All caregivers from around the world are formally invited to join the Baby Dance Club. We have both Live Stream and On Demand options. The live classes occur in Eastern Standard Time so keep time zones in mind! If you sign up for the live option, you’ll need to have access to Zoom. Additionally, those who join online exclusively are eligible to use the student/senior/virtual discounted rate on our Drop-ins, 10-Class Pack, & Monthly Unlimited Pass.

Do I have to purchase a monthly or 10-class pass to join? Nope! You can keep using drop-in passes if that works for you!

Is there a class recording I can rewatch/use in another timezone? Yes! Check out our On Demand options powered by Momence.

Are there special instructions for joining virtually? For Live classes make sure you have access to the Zoom application on a computer. About 30 minutes before the start of class, you should receive a link to join the Zoom meeting for the virtual class… and that’s it!

Is the class exclusively for mothers? Nope! We are a queer-led organization and understand family through that lens. Creating bonds is important for non-birthing parents & caretakers as well! Parents, fathers, grandparents, friends, aunts, uncles, nannies are all welcome.
