What we’re looking for in Teachers:
The ideal candidate is both charismatic and gentle. We are looking for applicants who demonstrate empathy, entrepreneurship, and passion for building community. We value experience in teaching movement classes, building a community, or working with new caregivers of young babies in some capacity. However, we only require an openness to learn and a respect for the safety of participants.
training includes:
This training will include 15 hours of live training sessions with Baby Dance Club™ creator Russell Lepley. The hours will be divided into six 2.5-hour segments. In-person trainings will take place over three days—each day will cover two segments. Online trainings will take place over 6 weeks—each weekly session will cover one segment. Licensed teachers will have access to a regularly updated virtual library of class choreography, a series of class playlists, and will be listed on our website. Licensed teachers are not employees of Flux Flow Dance Center and accept responsibility for promoting, scheduling, and all financial risk associated with building a Baby Dance Club™ community in their city.
What is the financial commitment?
If your application is accepted, applicants must submit a non-refundable deposit of $300 to complete their Baby Dance Club™ Teacher Training Registration and confirm their participation. The full price of the Teacher Training is $1100. The remaining balance of $800 must be paid no later than two weeks before the start date of training.
After completion of the training, teachers agree to pay a monthly fee of $39 for a minimum of six months to maintain their certification and license to use Baby Dance Club™ materials. In addition to maintaining licensure, this monthly fee will include access to a regularly updated catalogue of class choreographies and warmup playlists, and inclusion on the list of certified teachers on our website.
How many people will be accepted into each training?
Only 10 people will be accepted into each training. This will ensure that Russell can provide individualized attention and a quality experience to each participant.
